1. Click on FILE, then PAGE SETUP.
2. In PAGE SETUP, click on the MARGINS tab.
3. Place the overlay that you are going to print on, on top of and in the upper left hand corner of an 8.5” x 11” piece of paper.
4. With a ruler measure from the bottom edge of the 8.5” x 11” piece of paper to the bottom edge of your overlay & add .25” to the measurement. This would be your BOTTOM margin.
5. With a ruler measure from the right edge of the 8.5” x 11” piece of paper to the right side of your overlay & add .25” to the measurement. This would be your RIGHT margin
6. With a ruler measure from the top edge of the 8.5” x 11” piece of paper to just below the holes for the ribbon on the overlay & add .25” to the measurement. This would be your TOP margin.
7. The LEFT margin will be .25”
   Note: In PAGE SETUP, a picture of what your setup will look like is in the PREVIEW window.
8. Click OK.
9. Type in your text.
10. Test print on a blank sheet of paper and compare with designed product to make sure that text lines up correctly. Make any adjustments to text at this time.
11. Once you are satisfied with your layout, print on your overlay and then assemble your invitations.

TRANSLUCENT INVITATIONS SPECIAL INSTRUCTION

Our papers are inkjet and laser compatible. Due to the fact that all printers vary we cannot guarantee that this product will work with all printers. If you find that the ink does not dry properly we suggest trying to print on the other side of the translucent invitation.

We also recommend allowing extra drying time in between the printing of each invitation. You may find it easier to run one invitation through your printer at a time.

If you are still not satisfied with the print quality on your invitation you may try setting your properties within the print screen to the transparency setting. This is located under file, print, click on the properties, under Paper Style (this feature may not be available on all programs).
