Although we gave it a french name, this family from Japan is produced in the traditional Japanese style of kikka bijutsushi, whereby short fibers are organized on a second base layer to form a surface design. The same method as our Bachelor's Buttons, the only differences here are that this is a an all-over pattern and that both layers of the paper are produced in the same color, rather than contrasting a bit thicker than other papers in the same style, we offer this family in a rich array of five jewel tones. Excellent for use as journal covers or photo mattes, when an iridescent quality is desired.
