Strongest of the lace papers, the ogura is machine-made from 100% manila hemp. To form the distinctive lace pattern, long fibers are separated by the Japanese "falling water" effect on the newly formed sheets to create various holes within the paper. Beautiful for layering over other patterns and colors of paper for an original art creation.
