This exciting decorative paper is handmade in Portugal of thin layers of natural cork laminated to a coated, colored base paper. It makes an interesting surface for silkscreening and rubber stamping. A renewable, organically grown material, cork has been harvested for many centuries.
While the cork is neutral pH,
the base paper is not. Cork, the outer bark of the cork oak tree, protects the
