Shipping Policy
Paper.com ships 99% of orders within one business day. For the 1% of orders which cannot be shipped within one business day it is our policy to notify customers immediately via email offering them a few options, usually either a different delivery date or a substitute product which is available immediately. If the order is a rush it’s our policy to call the customer.
UPS picks up shipments from all our warehouses daily at 1PM, local time. Orders placed before 1PM (Eastern Standard Time) will ship on the same day the order is placed with us. Orders placed with us after 1PM will probably ship the next business day depending on the local UPS pickup time at each warehouse. Some warehouses have a later pickup and some warehouses are on Pacific Time. Therefore, for planning purposes you should expect that most orders placed after 1PM Eastern Standard Time will ship on the next business day.
Paper.com takes into consideration our customers' rush service requests. If, for some reason an order is placed after 1PM but is requested to be shipped same day Paper.com can request a second pickup from UPS and we pass on a rush service charge of $15 to the total order amount. Paper.com's customer service team will contact the appropriate warehouse to confirm this possibility exists before charging a rush amount to the customer.
