This striking striped pattern is individually hand-pressed on handmade paper with woodblocks using a woodblock method adapted from fabric printing. Our woodblock sheets with one impression are hand-blocked; the sheets with two impressions are some times hand-screened for the first impressions, and the second impression is hand-blocked. The resulting intricate patterns range in color and design, from subtle to vibrant.
